Marcella Atzori is an academic researcher and advisor, among the international top experts in blockchain governance and GovTech applications. She is currently affiliated with the University College of London, Center for Blockchain technologies.
Dr. Atzori is specialized in technopolitics and alternative models of governance, with a focus on blockchain-based applications and decentralized architectures for Public Administration and e-government.
She is a Blockchain Advisor for various organizations, such as the European Commission, the European Parliament, the British Blockchain Association, the City Council of Turin, the Global Challenges Foundation, and more. She is also the Blockchain Advisor and the International Coordinator of TrustedChain®, the first permissioned blockchain network of the European Trust Service Providers, specifically designed for highly sensitive sectors (finance, banking, e-government, e-health and industry).
In 2018, Dr. Atzori joined the round table on blockchain and global governance at the World Economic Forum, organized by the Global Challenges Foundation.
