Ms. Brooke Cianfichi
Principal, Rocket Development Partners
Brooke Cianfichi is a Principal of Rocket Development Partners. Rocket Development Partners are seasoned developers and real estate financiers experienced in leveraging underutilized real estate assets to build multifamily housing, retail and office assets that drive long term economic growth, activate neighborhoods, and create more vibrant communities. The three principals of Rocket Development Partners, Mitch Rutter, Dan Shields and Brooke Cianfichi, bring real estate expertise to the selection of cities for investment, the selection of neighborhoods to curate, and the creation of fund structures around hand-selected assets. Ms. Cianfichi uses a unique background in Physics, Finance, Economics, and Real Estate, along with a strict discipline in underwriting, to select projects in Opportunity Zones that are viable regardless of their existence within an Opportunity Zone - the Opportunity Zone overlay should improve profitability, not create project viability. The natural benefit to Opportunity Zone investing is the development of new business and the creation of jobs.
In her previous, senior management role at a conservative, top US-based bank, Ms. Cianfichi managed the loan delivery strategy for the NYC Commercial Real Estate Department, along with a sales group of 21 individuals covering a $5 billion portfolio in New York City commercial real estate. With over 14 years of credit experience, Ms. Cianfichi has a deep understanding of financial structure that allows her to assess and mitigate risk in real estate transactions. Ms. Cianfichi is known for her creativity, her drive and her solid reputation as a problem solver and relationship builder.
In addition to Rocket Development Partners, Ms. Cianfichi also serves as Chief Operating Officer and Director of Development at AscendAmerica, where her role is to initiate, underwrite and structure EB-5 investment opportunities. AscendAmerica has a strong reputation for integrity and providing conservatively-structured investment opportunities to investors.
She earned her MA in Economics from New York University and her MBA from the University at Buffalo. She is a New Leader on the Board of the Citizens Budget Commission, a nonpartisan, nonprofit civic organization dedicated to achieving constructive change in the finances and services of New York City and New York State government.
